I know that Stations Casinos let you bet online. They give you a disc to get into their computer system, and they call in intranet betting. I think MGM/Mirage does the same. And I've heard others talk about some pager system where you call them, and they call you back to bet by phone. But you have to be a Nevada resident, and you have to be physically in Nevada at the time of the wager. Why mess with it, when you can get better lines offshore? I don't think very many Las Vegas residents bet in Vegas.
Waste of time if you are looking for more than $2200 worth of action a day cause thats all they will allow you by phone or with stations. But if you dont bet that much than go for it. It's another out. And contrary to what alot of people say you can find some good lines in Vegas granted often times limits are smaller than offshore especially on totals but its worth it. Many times offshores numbers are painted then go take a look at vegasinsider and see what you can get in vegas. Also Illini is right you have to be physically in NV to make the bet and with phone accounts I believe you have to be in a certain mile radius of where your account is.
I used to play the stations online..It sucked! Wouldn't connect from time to time, Late to put up lines, would miss games etc... Plus, like Nicky said that $2200 limit bites..By the time the early games were over i would be at the limit and then i would be rushing off to palace or suncoast..Pissed me off time after time.Stick with offshore
