Greenhead owns a horse named Captain Squire who went off at 3-1 in the first race of Breeder's Cup Day today and finished second paying 5.20 and 4.20. I'm sure he would have liked to win, but the purse money wasn't bad as the race was worth $250,000. Hope he doesn't mind me announcing it. The man knows his business. Nothing wrong with second.But the difference between first and second,was 100k.In a 250K race 1st gets 60%=150,000 2nd gets 20% which is 50,000. After flight,commisions vets,jocks the horse netted about 35K.

hey winbet - I know you like the breeders cup so was wondering if you were on tradesports from your neck of the woods. Every winner bar one paid at least 10% and up to about 15% better than the track odds on their new US horse racing pools. Was a lot of fun.
