anyone live there that could hook me up woth a job... i would love to get a job living on the beach in that sweet town!~

The crime there is insane. The murder rate is among the highest of any country. The block of tourist hotels is fine...but don't venture from there.

Agree, had a bad experience there approx. 10 years ago and with all do respect to thegreek, etc. I will never go back.

the_snowman - If you want to make a beach move, try Curacao. Would not even recommend Margarita, Venezuela, since Venezuela is a dangerous place to live at the moment.

been there 8 times.. ofcourse i do it different than most.

i have access to a estate in the hills above half moon bay resort.

i love the country . been to ocho rios and negril many times. white witch golf course is one of the finest in the world..

i have always traveled in a pack when heading into town . and when we've hit the jamaican strip clubs , which can be an experience you wont forget , i usually have one of my many jamaican friends with me .

i have always felt safe there .

as far as wanting to live and work , cant say that i would do that . their are no jobs that are going to pay much more than 50 bucks a day.
