Anyone have any good intel on Royal Sports?

I signed up with Royal Sports a few months back and while I've had nothing but good experiences with them so far, I've been hearing some less than positive reviews from some guys I know.

Does anyone have any "intel" on Royal Sports? Have they ever had any complaints from customers? Failure to pay winners? Any info at all would be greatly appreciated.

I knew better than to put my money in a place I wasn't 100% sure of....as is the case with Royal. But those 25% cash bonuses sure can cloud your judgment!

Don't get wrong, I'm not here to accuse anyone of anything. Like I said, I've had no complaints about Royal at all so far. I've just heard some bad rumors and would like to learn what I can.

I got burned by Caribi a few years back. They stole over $5,000 from me! That one still stings.

They'll slow pay you if you win enough. Their owner isn't exactly one of the most stand up guys in the industry.

If you are playing with less than 10K there you are fine. They always pay. Usually takes two days to clear neteller and may require a "reminder" phone call but you will be paid. Don't let all the drama queens here scrare you. None of them even play at Royal.

Cris is not what it used to be. Oly's software is terrible and I mean terrible.
Pinny and Hollywood are top notch.

yeah, that's what i've been hearing.....

although i got pretty lucky with them. i usually use about 6 or 7 books to make my plays and over the past few months (since I've started with Royal) i have lost nearly every single play that i made with them! i've lost probably $15,000 there so far!

don't get wrong, i've won plenty at all my other books over that same period of time. it was just random chance that most of my losing plays just happened to be at that particular place.

so, the good part in all this, is that they're assuming that i'm a square since i've lost so much, so fast and now i get treated like royalty (no pun intended). i even got offered a free weekend trip to las vegas as a nice comp!

but after everything i've heard recently, i'm just gonna pull what money i still have in there and move elsewhere. thanks again!

yeah, i love Pinnacle.....i really can't imagine how an online book could be better!

i still like canbet (although not what it used to be, in my opinion) too. wsex and sportingbet.com have always worked well for me too.

Hollywood with reduced juice, Sky with the free 1/2, Cascade with some seriously off #'s (and they are ROCK solid)....I could go on & on.

Tej Kohli owns the place and has ripped off COUNTLESS
players in the past at books ranging from Pyramidcasino.net
to scoresportsbook.com. He's been convicted of fraud and
is accompanied by bodyguards much of the time. You guess
why he needs armed guards escorting him around.

Sending your money to Royal is like sending
your kid to be babysat by a repeat offend child molester.
If something happens you have noone to blame but yourself
because you knew the history.

On general principle any player who believes crooks have no place
in this business should refuse to play at Royal.

does anyone else know anything about this 'tej kohli' guy?

i've always been a little skeptical of the offshore monitoring services. the way i see it, if they accept advertising dollars from the books, does anyone really think they would ever negatively one of those books?

that being said, i've heard sportsbookreview.com (i think that's the site) has said tej kohli is a scam-artist. anyone else know about this guy?

Royal is one of my top 5 shops. Always get paid promptly, 1/2 point fridays, good lines and great props. Bailed me out a few years ago. great shop

Do a search on him on this site...there are links to his criminal record.

He has stiffed and closed the doors on previous books he owned. He is scum.

Sure it was. TT said exactly what many posters have said about this shit book. Some people do not care if they are lied to, stalled, or brow beaten down to cancel their WD requests for ridiculously large bonuses. Being stalled for weeks at a time after a WD request is not uncommon.

SportsBookReview rates Royal Sports a "D"...Poor, some risk to players funds. Poor customer service, etc

Note: Bet Royal keeps a list on who posts here so they won't screw with them. However, when the shit hits the fan, nobody will be saved.
