Are these trap games or what? I bought Pack to 10, but Vikings look really good.

the bengals are definitely pissed off after that game last week and gb limped off the field in minny. This line is just about right, with about 2 more points added to gb's injury woes.

Minny money=lost money. Look how difficult it was for them to cover against a mediocre GB team at home. Panthers off a bye and will probably run over them.

Bigbet- I have no opinion on the Green Bay game. But friends don't let friends drive drunk, and friends don't let friends bet on a Mike Tice coached team. Just say no.

Bengals were big home favorites against the Texans in week 4 and didn't cover. Panthers have a habit of not covering when big favorites. Like both dogs.

i have to disagree with the moneyline on the packers, take the points! green bay has just shown too much collapsing to take the ML. i'd advise the points, but take the 10. even if you have to buy the 1/2 point. 9.5 points isn't really all that much better than 7.5 (how many games end in 8 or 9 point margins? not many) so, take the 10 points....unless you have no option, then go with 9.5. just my thoughts.

in fact, this is what sparked my recent post on bowmans "sharp player" lines. i went to their site and checked lines before i logged in (i thought i was already logged in) and i saw that GB was +10. once i logged in, it went to 9.5! i was pissed. i called them up and found out that i get "special" sharp player lines. none of my other books have GB +10, so i'll probably be stuck buying the 1/2 point.

Moneyburners we used to call teams like this.

You'r letting the line put you on the wrong side on both games.:nono5:

A fundamental principle. When you bet on bad teams, bad things always seem to happen. Packers and Vikings are train wrecks waiting to happen every week. You might get lucky on any given day. But over the long run betting teams like these will chew up your bankroll and spit it out. Just my opinion.

you make a good point regarding betting on bad teams. every sharp in this business knows that. but check out the stats from the last 4 games played for both GB and CIN....

if this game was being played on a neutral field, i would have GB at "pick-em" okay, give Cincy some homefield advantage, but 10 points!? i just don't see GB getting blown out. 10 points!? come on!

The Bengals are the better team without doubt. Even if the Packers were healthy thier offense is nowhere near as good as Cincys. The Bengals are loaded with talent at the skilled positions and create loads of turnovers on D to make up for thier lackluster run defense. Farves better days are behind him thats for sure, while Carson just gets better and better. Bengals should roll to an easy win in this one.

Favre picked off 3 times,,,,seems to be the only difference between these teams today, Bengals not doing all that much.

For all the hype he gets for winning games, he can be equally as awful giving games away.
