I hope not as I have under 9.5 wins for the season but now that Culpepper may be out for the season could the Vikes win 8 of the last 9 with Brad Johnson? I was feeling really good about this bet as Dante has led this team to a 2-5 record and getting blown out on every loss and getting lucky on a win. It could have been a 1-6 start real easy and I'de be feeling a little better about this future bet but then crap, he goes and gets his knee hurt. Not good. Thinking of hedging this thing now.

Their offense MIGHT be a little better with Johnson...but their defense has been terrible. Without a defense, they have no chance (even though they do play in a terrible division).

Just a little depressed tonight Clip.

After the Vikes lose game 7 and not seeing Culpepper in the game doing it - it will be a real letdown for me. Culpepper will be on the sidelines with the that HUGE chain around his neck watching the defense lose it again. Well, I guess not all victories are as sweet as we'de like them to be.

Just someone saying maybe he should hedge out his under 9.5 wins for the Vikes has to be some form of dry humor.

Guess I could take the Vikes on the Moneyline against Pittsburgh (Dec 18th ) and maybe Baltimore (Dec 25th) if need be. Thanks for the responses.

Update:

Still a little nervous about this although I probably shouldn't be. The reasons why I shouldn't be nervous is because of the following:

1. We know the Viking defense is brutal. They've been brutal since...well... since Dante Culpepper became the quarterback.

2. We have an oldman at quarterback now. Completely immobile compared to a defensive end in the NFL, or for that matter, Dante Culpepper.

3. We know Brad Johnson has undergone neck surgery years ago as he had a disk which was compressing a nerve which basically made it impossible for him to hold onto the ball. These things never completely heal sowe should eventually see Brad fumbling and balls slipping out of his which can be easily intercepted. With Dante the Vikings were assured that "sausage fingers" could get his roll on like in Madden 2005.

So... We've gone from a 2-5, recorded 4 straight wins in which three of those were straight up dog winners to bring the record to 6-5.

4-1 to finish the season will be tough, but it can be done, NO JOKE.

Think the Bears pretty much have the division, as they still play the Packers twice and are playing the best "D" in the league. But the Vikes are playing mistake free for the most part and anyone who follows the N.F.L. knows turnovers=losses.
