Great story and all but come on. It's not like he went into a burning building to save 10 children. How many times do they have to show his wife? You would have though Kurt Warner was playing.

But he had 54 hits...what the hell is that? He ran into an offensive player...big whoop.

Listenming to ESPN it was like this guy was the second coming of Ray Lewis. He piled ino n a tackle and that lazy eyed goofball they have running the show with all his "cool" lines actually said...there's Brushi making another play. Basically it was a late hit IMO. WAY too funny.

NE got completey DOMINATED in that game, on both sides of the ball. The Bills SUCK, they were coming back form the west coast, NE had a bye week, and supposedly had that emotional lift.

They needed a turnover and a braindead play to even win the game.

This team is all done. I am a big bellichik guy, but I am sick of it already. Last night was over the top.

Not to mention continually panning to his wife. Who cares? We get it. She is actually at the game.

Agreed--ESPN is monotonous

I understand that they're trying to reach a different segment of the audience than hard core fans with this stuff, but they are SO monotonous with their "lead story lines" that it's nauseating. Last night it was Bruschi. A couple of weeks ago they had a VaTech game which Michael Vick attended to watch his little bro Marcus play. I swear to GOD they couldn't stop talking about Michael, running graphics comparing the two of them, and especially training the camera on Michael on the sideline. ENOUGH already with the "feature story" line! Let the damn event speak for itself.

I see you guys point about the overkill. But its about time they put some focus on one of the really good guys of the game instead of all the attention going to the county jail punks like TO and Randy Moss and all the other assholes that litter the NFL and other sports.

Tedy Brushi is what most every sports fan bitches about there were more of.A guy who took a home team discount to stay where he wanted to play. A guy who really does play at 100% effort. A guy who is loved by the fans never turns down an autograph. Also visits more sick kids than doctors do.And is out standing contributor to charity and his community....and something else he is that Moss and TO if they had a clue can only dream of..a 3 time champion and ideal role model. The attention to him is way overdue.

A guy who taunted the Colts to no end in last year's playoff game. I'd rather them focus on the game and the TEAMS rather than the individuals.

Another super irrating ESPN thing is how their announcers always have to say "National Football League" instead of just saying NFL. It sounds like they are trying to sound more intellectual and stretch out sentences and air time with that routine.

I have a feeling 90% of those making the negative comments had N.E minus the points....:nono5:

I personally didn't mind as he came back from alot and is one of the few "good guys" in the game...
