Week in and week out, it seems that on any given Saturday, teams in the Big 10 can beat each other. With only a few games left, wondered what everyone's thoughts are on which team will eventually come out on top and why. Opinions welcome.

Eight bowl teams!!

Fish:

Realize that normally teams land in a bowl with 6 wins, but if either Minnesota or Michigan State were to end up below .500 in conference, still think they get an invitation? Personally, I think both teams deserve a bowl but other power conferences may take up a spot.

Could happen Fish, but the days of national dominace are slipping away from this conference...

Agree Jimmy. Believe this conference may struggle in the bowls depending on who they play.

As usual not a whole lotta difference between the top eight teams...they just beat each other up.

Penn State gets the nod, as they have already defeated Ohio State. Can't see Wisconsin going the rest of the way undefeated.

Minnesota is definetly in a bowl game with ONE more win in my estimation.

These days, it is very hard to not make a bowl game with 6 DIV ONE victories........especially if your from a power conference.

I will say the Lions as well.

Props to Fish for calling the Lions return to the top back in July.

Also,

Another factor which will impact the Big 10 is the recruiting pool. The high school kids watching the BIG 10 and SEC games are seeing a more deliberate style of football.

When the kids see the PAC 10 shootouts their heads are spinning. I think the stud recruits are being pulled west by the brand of football they're seeing.

Joe Pa goes into East Lansing a favorite and leaves with a loss.

Right now, Ohio State playing the best ball. Needs help from Penn State opponents.

I believe Ohio State wins the conference.

Agree. The Pac 10 plays a professional style balanced attack both running and passing. Defensively they are underated. They will do some damage in the bowls this year.

As much as I hate Michigan, all they have done is win @ Mich St, Iowa, and NW when those teams were rolling. Oh, they beat undefeated Penn St at home too. No reason they can't beat Ohio St at home and Mich St can beat Penn St at home too for a 2-loss champion.
