Its not the political idiots I fear, its the hypocrites who act like gambling isn't already accepted into society. A small percentage of the population really doesn't want anyone to gamble, but they make their points so loudly that people make the mistake into thinking they are this large group of people. When the truth shines out like it does with this survey, I hope the day comes sooner when people view gambling like alcohol. Something to be taken with caution, but something that should generally be available to those who choose it. De facto that is what we have because clearly there is no support or even laws for the most part for prosecuting online gamblers, but still just this attitude against it bothers me. Most of us can make our own choices and live our lives as we choose, but on just a few subjects we have idiots out there that insist on telling us free citizens of a supposedly free country what to do. I say bring more research like this to make it clear to them the people want what they want and aren't going to listen to others telling them how to live.
