I can watch any sport out there when I have a bet going except for the NBA. I was a subscriber to the NBA package on Directv for the last 4 seasons but dropped it this year because I simply cant watch an NBA game that im betting on anymore. Way too many lead swings. Way too many momentum shifts. Way too many backdoor covers and bad calls for my taste. It seems like the last 1:30 of a game decides 95% of these games anyway no matter how the first 46.5 mins went.

I dont have a problem watching any other sport when im betting other than the NBA. Does anyone else have this problem? LOL.

Hockey can be tough when you take the +1.5 and your team pulls the goalie to try and tie the game in the last minute of play and you get nailed with the empty net goal to lose by 2.:finger:

Hockey is giving me heart attacks this season try having Pittsburgh tonight down 1-0 to Jersey then up 3-1 in the 3rd only to lose the lead as Jersey forces overtime only to get a break and have Pittsburgh win in overtime. Too many swings for me I find watching that game harder than watching Phil/Mil tonight (had Phily) and S.A/Den (Had S.A). While I didn't have this game Fla was up late against Montreal 4-3 I believe with less than a min left in the game Montreal scores to force overtime where Montreal takes the game that is also a kick to the teeth.

believe it or not, Tennis is pretty tough to watch when the player your on starts having a meltdown with his/her serve, and there's no team or nothing that can help him/her, and your yelling for him to wake up....on the flip side, when they're cruising along, its nice to watch

More because the last 1:30 decides the cover no matter what happens the first 3 quarters. Unless a team is getting blown out going into the fourth quarter, the first three quarters don't matter. Take Denver/SA tonight. Denver up 3 plus a 7 pointhandicap going into the fourth quarter. They lose by 11. I guess an argument can be made to only watch the 4 quarter. It might be exciting to do that. I think that is what I will do this season.

For me its the Nba by far!!! For example, I have under 108.5 in the phoenix and can't even watch it. Every time i turn it on it seems like they run off 6 points. I wind up hitting refresh at yahoo instead:monsters- .

:lolBIG: For some reason I have a much easier time watching an NBA game on cbssportsline than live.

Part of the reason I cant watch an NBA game in peace is because I suck in the NBA and do all my bets through following cappers here at THERX. I lose my sense of control when I follow someone besides my own picks because I dont really know the reasoning for why the capper made the choice.

In baseball my sport of choice I do all my own capping and have confidence in knowing that im going to win more than I lose making it very enjoyable.

College hoops, free throws and desperation 3's the last minute determine many of the games.

feel exactly the same way. I am a firm believer in betting only ML in NBA this takes all the luck out of the last 3 minutes of game. You would be just betting the team to win and know your getting your best effort to the buzzer. Poster SSI is doing this in the NBA forum right now( betting only ML dogs) and has said this reduces stress .

soccer, with these scenarios

1. You have +1.5 handicap and your team is already down by 1 with 45 minutes left to play.

2. the game is 1-1 during the 80th minute and you have the under.

3. You have +0.5 handicap and your team is playing from behind early.

Horse Racing - no question - especially jumps racing. You have it all sown up, then it falls - bullet to the brain - no recoveries!

I don't watch until it matters, like right before halftime and last 2 minutes of game. I don't even like sports anymore !

Offer me , for example, play-off tix at Foxboro, in the middle of winter, I'd rather have half what their value is in cash !

Baseball is only sport I'd attend, I hate NFL, college anything ( but have been to a few UNLV games when they were good in early 90's), never been to NFL, NBA, NHL game, ever !

I like AAA baseball ( maybe close to 100 games at that level), even double-A ball.

I'm not a sportsfan, anymore ! I just need to keep up with it ! The fan in me is long gone !

Without a doubt, NBA basketball. It is a pretty easy one to figure out. Whichever sport has the most scoring is always the most difficult to watch because everything changes almost instantly for the entire game.

Watching the Suns game now I would definitely say the NBA also. So fast paced and things can change so quickly. Even a last second shot from half court can determine the outcome of the bet.

You guys are right, it's NBA. I bet H2 of Phx and Dallas under 105, it's at 84 end of Q4, but tied, so OT, still live, then another fucking OT !
