There are rumors circulating that several betting syndicates literally "own " these two northeast tracks......Jockeys are on the take and when there is a super or trifecta race the favs will usually be stiffed to some extent....Several weeks ago there were some incredible finishes with the dead chalk horses never in the race with incredible longshots winning at Delaware....The judges are helpless and have no idea what to do. They have been instructed to monitor all IRS cashed tickets and will have the paper trails. But of course the betting syndicates wager off track and use phoney SS # 's and ID's to cash tickets...using dozens of names.....Keep your eyes open at these tracks and bet lightly if at all....Better off sticking to NY tracks.....higher security....

pretty much have to ask yourself that question if you are wagering on everyrace at just about any track,....i mean i dont wager that often at those two tracks,....i just know a few people in the horse racing buisness and things happen that make no sense, yet some people cash big tickets,........i remember penn national be quite chalky,...yet now adays i have seen some crazy stuff happen,........really wouldnt recommend just looking over a form and deciding toi get rich because it is not that easy. gl

It's no surprise that shady things are going on at horse tracks-what's new?
Some ways are easier than others to pick up on, but there's a hell of a lot of it going on-always has been, always will be-especially on the lower levels.

I've heard that the trotters are even worse at some tracks.

I can't comment on Pha because hardly anyplace takes it on weekends out here but I play Del all the time and I've never seen anything unusual; the races are quite formful.
