35 points, 11 assists, 5 rebounds...

14-for-26 from the field...

AMAZING game...

Clippers 1-0 by opening the season with a ROAD WIN...those two words could not even be mentioned in the same sentence last season!!!

Bang them out every night and be a winner!!!

Cassel was ballsy at the end which we've never had a player do the last 15 years. Maggette would have run into a defender 5 times hoping for a foul in the same spot.

Cassel is good for 17 of these type game a year...the other 65 are the problem

Played the Clips +6, and thought about +4' 2nd half with the score 50-50. Mad that I didn't double up, but sure I had the best team + points.....GL2u

The great thing he showed tonight is we finally have someone that will TAKE and more importantly MAKE the big shots in crunch time...we have desperately needed a go to guy down the stretch for years. He is not afraid to be that guy.

I love Cassel...I just don't know how well he will do with running a team that has guys that need to get shots. When Maggette gets back, chemistry could be a problem. Cassel taking 26 shots won't be a good thing because Maggette will pout and play no defense. It will get ugly.

Maggette, Mobley, and Brand need to get a lot of touches and plenty of shots for this team to be successful. I just worry that Cassel isn't the point guard that will distribute enough. But if we get Livingston back, he will be the perfect PG coming off the bench to keep everyone happy.

Great game by Cassel...most importantly he helped the Clippers win a road game and established his leadership role. We could not win on the road last season.

We get to come home now against Atlanta and should start the year 2-0!!!

Cassell needs to be traded back to the Rockets, he is getting too old, and would be better surrounded by a winner where he could accessorize..they have a good team.

Playing long minutes for the Clips is gonna kill his weak back, plus his head wanders when not a contender..this may be his last year?

You should have picked higher than 35 wins

The real test is when Maggette gets back...on paper, we should be better. But we'll see what happens. I still believe Dunleavy is going to trade Maggette and Wilcox and I will probably not post for a week when that happens because I will be in mourning.

It is a long season...this is just a great start. I can't explain how excited I am.

I don't think I have ever seen Eddie Murray at a Clippers game.

I am excited for our first home game against Atlanta on Friday. There is always a pretty awesome crowd of celebs, but this year might even be up a notch or two.
