well if it is anything like my surgery was that will not happen. I couldn't even move for a week. Couldn't dump for like 4 days...boy that's fun. Don't push they say....uh, ok. Had to take a laxative. After 2 weeks I could start walking around a little.

Went back to work (capentry) after a month and it was 2 weeks too soon. I was not prepared for the pain at all. I thought I would be up and running within a week. Be prepared....it freaking hurts like crazy.

I'm assuming they will give you an epideral, that's kinda weird...talking to them when they've got you cut open. I fell asleep cause of the drugs but it was still weird. I heard the nurse say.."hurry up, he's wiggling his toes." My back hurt for 2 weeks from that epideral.

And BTW, 3 years later that dang mesh thing they put in me I can still feel, and occasionally it hurts. Also BTW, I have another one right now. Gonna put it off for a while. Not ready to do that crap again.

My recovery was worse than anyone I have ever talked to that has had the surgery. But all I can say is get ready for some pain...and have fun peeing for the first two days after.

This might be the most disturbing post I have ever read.
