How or when did you start wagering?

I started at approx. 18 years old and my first wager was at the track. Won the first bet and thought, wow this is easy. Said to say, the easy word went out the door the following night and many nights to come.

Way back in 3rd grade -- I was in Catholic school --- throwing dice w/ Isamel, my Mexican friend ( my apologies this was before political correctness, Latino ). I won his school books --- then, threw them in the incinerator-- didn't need books, I already was equiped with enough books !
The nuns were not amused! These were not the actions of a good alter boy.
Soon after, I was releaved of my duties as a student in Catholic school.

The rest is gambling history.

Grew up deep in the inner city but had a little 9 hole regulation cow pasture muni 2 blocks from the house. Greens fees were .75 cents and .25 for kids back then. Could break 40 regularly and occasionally threaten par by my mid teens. Lots of games for dollar nasaus and .50 cent skins.

Bunch of winos and hangers on always hanging around with their WWII veterans checks on the ready for some action of any kind. We walked when playing and anybody could walk along too...flask in hand no problem. They would take action on our action. Sometimes they would bankroll you for a couple of bucks.

Funniest story was I'm safely on the 9th and final green in regulation. I'm walking the fairway to the green and this old limping vet asks me if I could use a fin to three put. I could and I did. I was probably 15 or 16 at that time.

Well I always ha a football card with my father as a kid growing up. You know Pick 3 or 4 , 5, 6 and had to win them all. I guess that is where I learned how to parlay

But it really bagan in

1986 Towson State University

Sport and Society Class, with 2 local Italian kids, and Dave Meggett in this class as well. The two italian kids actually helped run a book for Harrys Bar on Northern Pky and Loch Raven Blvd. I got a ID number, and a call in number, and that was all she wrote from that point forward.

As far as Meggett He always bet on the Cowboys, and at that time, they were horrible. He was a diehard Cowboys fan.

One of my college friends taught me how to bet sports online. My first bet online was Micheal Chang on the tennis ml, I won that first bet and was hot for a while. My initial deposit was $100 with $50 bonus from Willhill and gone up to as high as $1200 but eventually lose it all back and more.......... Part of the reason is online casinos accelerated my losses.

I saw a betonsports ad in a magazine. I remember thinking it was the coolest thing around. Went to the local WU outlet, sent in $300 and made my first bet on the Bucs (they covered...that got me hooked).

I remember when I went on a streak and got my balance up to around $800 I thought I was such a high roller. I could picture the clerks oohing and ahhing when they saw my huge balance lol. Always called in my bets at that time.
