Ok i tend to lend an ear to conspiracy theories, especially when i have money involved in the situation. But i dont whole heartedly believe in them so to speak..Case and point, last week i had Toledo-10.5...Toledo down on the Ohio 4 yd line chooses to go for it on 4th down instead of kicking the easy filed goal... Naturally those others who had toledo were screaming the fix and all the bullshit, but to me it made total sense as to why the coach would go for that td and not kick the field goal..I am not looking to open a debate into that game so dont post a damn thing about that shit!!! I made my money back by simply accepting the loss and hammering the shit out of the books saturday!!!!
But here is the reason why i am asking this question...Last week some one made what seemed to be a valid post about Bowman's and the fact that they were profiling him and giving him a different set of numbers than what other gamblers were getting. (A fact apparently admitted by the books manager to this guy)
I had my suspicions about a particular book that i am yet to prove...This morning i log into my book looking for some nice early lines, unfortunately my books release lines at different times and this is can be a problem for a gambler like me who places the same bets in every book for the same amount of money...(unless if one book is offering a better line, i will play that game risking the total amount i would otherwise bet in all my other books )
So here is my problem...I think i managed to find a game where the line could be way off and i log into one of my books to place my bet, on another window i have the line of the game being displayed by one of my other books...Both lines are identical (-10)...So i place my wager at my first book, then some minutes later i log into my second book to place a wager and the line has moved (-10.5 in about 40 secs)
It could be coincidence but this got me to thinking....Is it possible that two offshores can collude and share info on a particular gambler and his habits? I bet favs all the time and have been killing my books just hammering favs (i think i bet favs at a clip of 8-1) and in one of my books, where i think they are totally profiling me, they sold me a totally ridiculous number that looks inflated enormously...(True sharps know what line this is) My book was showing the line up 1.5 points off the average being displayed at most books.. There would be no way in hell sharps had bet that line and moved it 1.5 whole points since last night...
Any way after placing the wager (+23) an hour later i log back into the very same book and the line shot back down to the industry standard....
These two events got the wheels turning in my head...My question isnt about profiling....I know 100% that my book was/is profiling me, i am wondering if you guys ever suspect that two independent offshore books can collude and share information with each other about your plays and gambling habits!!!!!
