What do I expect??........Does her father pay for the wedding, or most of it, When should It come up w/her in conversation, engaged only a week, her parents are great, middle class/upper.they love me....We live on long island, ny........Any input would be great

I agree with WN1.
I think traditionally you're supposed to pay for the rehearsal dinner?
Make sure it's open bar all night.
If I've learned anything, it's that everyone hates a cash bar, especially at funerals... err.. weddings

You better be ready to pay for it yourself. It will definitely start the relationships with the inlaws off on the bad foot if you "expect" them to pay. Let them come offer it to you. If they don't, you can always elope.

If you're going to elope, you might as well do it during the RX bash... last year we had GIJoe and his fear factor hand, next, a wedding, complete with dozens of degenerates at your open bar.
At least the room is comped.
