I believe if I ever win too much I would get sick of it. That's not happened for me yet though.

Gamblers are "greedy" by nature. You'd be more apt to get cocky and/or complacent, which would result in a losing streak. Believe me, your "hunger" to win will return VERY quickly.

I remember back in '98 or so, before I even got on the internet, I pretty much was your "Average Joe" bettor. Watch Sports center, look at the morning paper, hmmm this team will beat this team (place bets for the night)

Won 13 straight bets in a row, it must have been May (NBA and MLB bets). Thought I was "the world greatest capper". Started contemplating investing in a 900-number and advertising it, getting onto the net, ect (I was THE GREATEST and was going tout :lolBIG: )....you guys prolly know what happened next....

Not necessarily due to winning, but I'm sure that there are a lot of winning players who got sick of it and dropped out simply because it's so time consuming. I could never do it full time......it's a long, hard battle and there are no guarantees.

I don't think you can get sick of the actual winning part of it, but you can get sick of working at it at times.

Agreed...by the end of this baseball season, I probably needed time off more than the actual athletes. It was my first year betting baseball, and half of my plays weren't even my own (taken from the great MLB cappers we have at this site), and even though I won a good deal of money, at the end I almost didn't feel like all the effort was worthwhile. Now that some time has passed, looking at my bank account with that extra cash in there tells me that it was worth it.
