This team is struggling. That said they have found a way to win every Sat. They have yet to play well since the Fla game. Take the 3 poits and wait for them to get beat vs Auburn on the road last game

I am worried about a 2nd half comeback as they have shown a tendency to play not to lose in the 2nd half but im all over LSU in the 1st half. Alabama is not an offense minded team and i do believe LSU is working on some things this week to exploit what they feel is a slow defense.
Bama will come out looking to stuff the run and i think their going to be in for a surprise. throw in a special teams score or turnover and i could see a 17-3/7 halftime score:money:

Bama has a few weakness' but I wouldn't put defense spead on that list. Veteran team on the D side, if they lose it, I doubt they will be to blame.

I love this play - this line is 5-6 points off. Can't believe they are getting 3 at home in what should be a tight low scoring game.

LSU has 4 interchangeable running backs....but they know Bama will be geared up to stuff the run anyway...its the short passing game that they are working heavily on this week to take advantage of "8 in the box"...quick hitting slants across the middle...if they hit em with their, not above avg but world class speedsters on the end their going to find a lot of room to run after the catch

looks like one guy doesnt get changed out as often as the others .

they will need that short passing game and a few other things to go their way to score more than 13 points..

My point exactly, the guy who is hurt is not even on that list. the 4th guy "green" is the world class speedster. those are all end around runs he's made...

And the "other things" are the Virginia Tech like special teams that have played unbelievably well all year.

and dont get me wrong, im no homer here. i havent made a big wager all year but i truly feel they will be able to control Bama's offense for the 1st half at least....and between a good offense game plan and special team play that i feel can put them in some good positions..the 1st half at -.05 or -1 just looks like a huge play for me...the only reason im not playing it yet is im hoping it moves my way even more...i can get -1 @107 right now....id love to get -2 @ +115..im probably dreaming but im going to hold out for it anyway

Im not sure what you guys are reading out there. the official first team running back is Ally Broussard..he's been out all year and will not play until next year. Now Addai is the starter, he is not injured and will play. he did get a slight ankle sprain 2 weeks ago but was rested last week (5 carries) and should be at full strength this week...Now to get even more technical Addai is actually the 3rd team back..Vincent was the #2 back all last year and this year but has had some trouble hanging on to the ball, hence Addai who is a senior has taken over in the lead role..Addai has improved alot this year and looks the part of a #1 back. however before this year started just about any scout anywhere would tell you that Broussard, Vincent and Carey all 3 have NFL potential although Carey is somewhat undersized...Addai stock has risen this year but was looked at as an underperformer prior to say the last half of last season when he began to show some skills...

all i'm reading are the stats this year and the injury reports that are available.

ofcourse these are the same injury reports that had 3 nba players not playing the other night . all 3 ended up playing a lot of minutes.

i will go out on a wide limb and say that Alabama will probably lose this game
if LSU does not make costly turn overs!!

Trust me fellas, the bookies know exactly how to set these lines....

Bama's running game will probably be dead in the water, look for Brodie Croyle to be rushed or even fumble that ball at least once in that game...

i keep saying that in football, the most important player that any gambler should look out for is the center....He is even more important than the Quarterback...But people wont listen... Bama's center is out and the sharps know exactly where the value lies in this game....Take if for what its worth...

I just have a feeling Bama will lose this one by more than 10:youmad: :youmad: :youmad:

Yeah, Bama came up early on my screen. And I note that most of the computer ratings are on the Tide. "Everyone" is sure all over them.

Butas WorldNumberOne said, "Doesn't make sense." And as redpimp added, "bookies know exactly how to set these lines."

This game smells like T-R-A-P. Bama seems to be able to score only off defensive turnovers or special teams. Hey, they may shut the Tigers out, but I wouldn't wager the farm on it.

It would be in Bama's best interests to score an offensive TD this week, unless they are looking at a 3-0 game.

I am a "homer" and I am a gambler. LSU has the big edge on both lines yet nowhere else. If those lines impose their will LSU wins, simple as that. Games aren't that simple and playing at home is huge. Croyle makes a couple big plays and the defense scores for a 21-13 Tide win.
