Does others have betting & Poker success and failures at the same time?

I have noticed that luck runs good & bad with sports betting and poker at the same time.

If I had a great day betting on football I can log into an online poker room and dominate the tables and score nicely. If I had a bad day betting football and I log into a poker room a get creamed!!!!!!!

Im beginning to think that luck runs the same way good and bad in all avenues of gambling. I finnally had a great week with my football plays this past weekend. I went to a poker site yesterday and won $895 in less than 3 hours. One of my best single sessions ever at (online poker) tables. And this morning with my new found luck I decieded to throw 10 bucks in one of the video poker machines here in Louisiana with awful less than 90% payout odds and won a very handsome $300 bucks in less than 10 hands.

I cant believe whats going on the last week. Conversly when I am down on my luck its bad at both the sports betting and the poker tables at the same time. I have rarely if ever been hot at one and cold at the other. Its either both hot or both cold at the same time. Does this happen to anyone else?

CHOP, I will be in Lake Charles this weekend for the big weekend tournament at the ISLE. COme on over if you want and play. I can help you out with some background information about who is at your table.

Also, next weekend is the BIGGGG tournament in KINDER for the guaranteed $250,000. The entry fee is $1100 for that tournament. I believe that they have satellites daily for $100 each, but I am just going to pay the $1100. No need to waste time on the satellites for me.

Let me know if you might be going to either and I can send you my email address so I can treat you a free buffet at least for making the trip

What time is the tourney in Lake Charles? I just may be able to make time for that this weekend. I will be out of town next weekend but I am open for the Lake Charles event.

Online muti table touneys with $10 to $30 dollar buyins.

Cant wait for baseball season. Football is killing me YTD!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yes, the tournament is at noon, but you could get their as late as 1pm and be an alternate and you would get in.

It is a real good poker room and it is a guaranteed $15,000 prize pool even though on Saturday they will not have enough people to make the guarantee

Chop, looks like ill be a lil short of funds to make lake charles this weekend but if theres anyway i can make it ill be there as well...Players is a most gracious host, i had the pleasure of playing there with him 3 weeks ago and i must tell you it was a very enjoyable experiance..this guys as good as they come and i assure you you'll have a great time.

P.S.....if you do get that buffet make sure you go ahead of Players....that is if you want anything but scraps!!!! this guy can put away some food let me tell ya.....lol
just kidding of course but seriously if theres any way you can make it be there!!

All those casinos down there are such shitholes. Harrah's is the nicest one.

There is not a HARRAHS Lake Charles anymore! It might be back in 9 months, but the Hurricane destroyed it.

Isle of Capri has 22 poker tables in it so it is not that small

I was talking about the Harrah's in New Orleans. Even though we lost our ass there the place was pretty nice. REAL BIG TOO.

Poker room was OK.. Too dark. I think they moved it though.
