For all those who bitch about where the US comes in for FIFA rankings:
The U.S. concludes the year with a 13-3-4 record, an all-time high for wins and the best-ever winning percentage (.750) in a season where the team has played more than 10 games, breaking the record of .733 set just last year when the U.S. went 8-1-6 in 15 games.
Granted it may not be playing European squads, but add that to winning the WC qualifying group and the region's championship tournament this year, the MNT is poised for a big effort in Germany. I can already hear the jeers coming from the "old world" when they get a much deserved higher seed for the draw, but every true fan who has backed the squad for years couldn't care less.
See you all in Germany, I plan on attending the first round...
