My major league career spanned 23 seasons

I had 450 + hits for 4 different teams

I played for two different teams twice

After age 34 I needed just 700 more hits to reach 3,000 but did not make it, I wasn't someone you would expect to have great career numbers.

Me and the color orange go together

Coming off my best season , my 15th in the big leagues, where I finished 5th in AL MVP vote and drove in 121 runs...I never batted over 340 times again, even though I played til age 41

More like "Le Grand Poof" as the use to say. Little on the "gay" side.

Ate in his restaurant a couple of times. Great Ribs.

:monsters- Kind of a weird career, Staub actually had a real shot at 3,000 hits...he had came off his best season 1978 with Detroit, and had 4-5 years to get the needed 700 hits, to reach 3,000, but never played a full season again...

I should have left the orange out.:lolBIG:
