There isn't even a close 2nd...he is by far the worst. I am just glad these major networks tied him up so I don't have to listen to him on all of the Clippers games anymore.

He's so over the top, I think it has to be an act, just to get a reaction...I have grown tired of Bill myself, I use to find him funny, because he would say just about anything, about anyone....like 'what will Walton say tonight' kind of thing.

and NO ONE can change his tune quicker, he predicts whats going to happen , after it happens.

He was the #1 reason Clippers season ticket sales went up...no one wanted to stay home and have to listen to him while watching the game on TV.

I thought the same thing. But it got worse when he started arguing with Tom Tolbert just for the sake of arguing.

Dicky Vitale has to be the worst, then Big Bill.

Its nice to see that I am not the only one that finds that pothead unlistenable. I have not heard a game he has done in over a year now. If hes doing a game I want to watch, I end up watching it without the volume on. What he fails to realize is that people turn the game on to watch the game not to listen to him. Yet an other ex athlete that thinks he is more important that he acutally is. Much like TO, no one loves him as much as he loves himself.

I LOVE Bill Walton.

There was a day when I used to really take sports (and the NBA) seriously, so I wanted serious analysis and I didn't care much for Bill Walton.

These days, I really don't care for serious analysis. The NBA has become "refined streetball", so a "refined streetball commentator" is great. He is funny, he takes the "work" out of a game and makes it what it is - ENTERTAINMENT.

And so it goes......

He and Dan Dierdorf make my ears hurt. They add nothing to a game. Walton tries too hard to sound like he knows something.

I find him quite hilarious.

Me too, becasue what he says is so assinine, it makes me laugh out loud.

On opening night, he said "thats the play of the year!"

Last night, he was blowing Joel Pryzbilla all night, the guy has 2 points!!!! And claimed he just made the "best play of his career"

Laughable.

The worst was when he announced Arizona in the elite 8 when his son was there. That was ridiculous. He was claiming it was the worst officiating he had ever seen, and that Illinois was trying to hurt the Arizona players. It was like watching a high school players dad announcing a game that thought his son was the best thing ever

please throw it down big fella
LOL. that is pretty funny

"get it down inside to the big fella, let him establish the offense. let it flow through the big guy. all this jackn up 3's youre just not letting the most talented player on the team do what he is capable of. make the defense respect your abilitys on offense. when you dont get it down inside to the big fella and let him do what he is capable of, they are going to double team you on the peremiter everytime. coach wooden taught me about life not just basketball."

that is basically what he sounds like. 1 huge incoherent thought.

I use to love hearing him say Lamar Odom was the best player in the NBA after he would make his one good play a game for the Clips...then the rest of the night talk about how terrible he was.
