as a side note, they have gotten all the other awards winners correct. and are almost dead on, in the finishing order, and the gaps that each won by.

Has to be A-Rod ...

I cant vote for some guy who DHs and too fat to bend over to tie his shoes let alone field ground balls

Ortiz is one dimensional and A-Rod clearly the superior player

Still can't believe a DH is gonna grab the MVP but it seems to be the case here.

Still can't believe a .230 hitter can win an MVP...A Jones is dogshit. Too bad voters LOVE homeruns.

pujols will take it viking, jones finished awful, and people calmed down after that big home run spurt he had.

a side not, jones actually had the better offense around him, no matter what anyone says. just look at how many more rbi chances jones had than albert.

any baseball fan that knows anything about the sport can tell you that Apujols is the best that has been around in years and will continue to be....just glad he's on my team...i could care less if he wins any MVPs cause Cardinal fans know he's the best baseball has seen in 50 years.

I normally agree with you, but to say "A. Jones is dogs**t (I have some class) is too say you have very little class or a clue. Not saying he should win over Pujols, but that statement is very lame. By the way, A. Jones did win another, his eighth I believe, gold glove and hit over .260. Plus, unlike Pujols, didn't have many quality hitters behind him. And he carried and I mean carried the Braves, when Chipper was down.

Have you ever watched a baseball game? There's this guy named Barry Bonds who's been

THIS MUCH

better than every hitter in baseball for a few years. I'm not knocking your boy Albert, as there's no disputing that he's a stud. But Derrek Lee was the best hitter in the NL this year, and Barry was the best hitter in the NL the prior four years. Your boy Albert, even being the stud that he is, has yet to be the best player in the NL for even ONE season --- much less the best player in the last 50 years.

And please, don't even bother trying to argue with me. If you do, you'll just look like a bigger (and stupider) homer than you do already.

i keep forgetting, but what quality hitters did pujols have behind him this year.

the out for most of the year scott rolen? the over the hill larry walker, or the terribly offseason with the bat jim edmonds?

while jones got a crop of very good rookies, with Giles, and chipper, having much better seasons than any of the 3 cards i mentioned above.

did i also forget to mention how many more rbi opporunties jones got than pujols, he had 128 rbi's while batting .207 with runners in scoring position.

people are so damn clueless.

More to the game ... Bonds has what, 10 Golden Gloves???? Clemente may not have had Pujols stats but could change the course of a game with that cannon in right field ....

Pujols is a great hitter ... greatest player in the 5 past decades is a ridiculous statement considering Mays, Aaron & others have graced our presence
