You should stick to the 1, 2, 3 unit range for all games.... Some of your strong, feeling on top of it picks should at most be a three unit play. Now...what is a 1, 2, 3 unit play?
I consider units as 1.5 percent of bankroll. 1 unit = 1.5% bankroll
2 units = 3% bankroll and 3 units = 5% of bankroll (I know but I round mine)
Also, do not change your dollar amounts until you are well within a range ABOVE your current roll. So in your case, I would see $10, $20 and $30 as my plays. ALSO, as I mentioned, I would wait until you have $1,000 before you reset your amounts. Constantly changing your real dollar amounts can hurt you on losing streaks. If you can put together winning plays then you will get to $1,000 at some point. Then re-set your amount per play and amount per unit, still using the 1.5, 3 and 5% rule.
To further the explanation, I would take the $1,000 and work toward about $1,800 to $2,000 before I would re-set the wager amounts. It is a bit more conservative but the race is a long marathon and it is much better to be conservative. tulsa
