OT - Skill in Roulette

I was just wondering, because I was on fire on the roulette table, went up to canada this weekend(niagra) and played some roulete, only making 10 dollar bets....turned 20 into 340, i mean i had gut feelings then I had some feeling about like red not hitting 4 times in a row and whatnot, anyway just wanted to see if anyone else had any stratigies in playing the game?

People were following me, saying hey kid(im only 20) what are you going on:lolBIG:

You got lucky Jasin. Don't go back and spend your winnings on something nice.
Other than clocking a wheel, which is beyond the scope of this discussion, you can't bet roulette.

The game consistently holds 25% for the house.

No Doug, the house edge is 5.4% on a double zero, half that on a single. It HOLDS 25%.

I love playing roulette. Outside of craps its my favorite game in Vegas.. Only bad thing about it, it will get you eventually.. If you can win early keep your money and run... Dont win and think it will last forever.. Never double up your bets thinking eventually its going to hit red, its not. Ive seen black or red hit over 20 times in a row.

Favorite time I was strolling through Arizona Charlies casino in Vegas ( charlies is a small hang out for locals off the strip in vegas) just had finished lunch with my wife, looked over and saw no one was playing at the roulette table, so I went over with $20 bucks bought 4 $5 chips placed 1 on 13 and one on 23. 23 hit. I then told the dealer that I think an 8 is going to hit next. Placed a chip on 8 and then 1/2 covered each side number. Covers 7/8,8/9,5/8,8/11. 8 hits. My wife starts jumping up and down with joy, the The dealer gives me this long evil look as if I cheated or something. I never showed any emotion as I gave him his 15% tip, and walked away as if it happens all the time....
