I want to hear reviews from ACTUAL gamblers that ACTUALLY play at a particular book, don't the majority of you posters here?

Bigbet--

Be the first to acknowledge, there is more that can be learned about a book other than having firsthand customer relations with them(visiting the offices, knowing the individuals in charge, reading gossip, etc., etc), but NOTHING overshadows what the actual players at a particular book say about a particular book.

What are you getting at Fish...are you suggesting players rate books and don't even use the books they're rating?

What I am getting at is there are literally hundreds upon hundreds of sites purtaining to the offshore sportsbetting world with again literally hundreds and hundreds of individuals touting/reviewing/rating books that have never even played with the book their writing about.

It is really disappointing when the above individuals are the actual owners of the website they are promoting their propaganda on.

I do not play at a lot of places...CRIS is one of them, but I know I would never play there, the main reason is their software, and that they are in CR. Unless you know how it works, they are going to steal money from you byu rounding the change. I know a lot of places also do it, but I picked CRIS because there is a topic about it here.

So if I do not have an account there does that mean I can't say that they are doing something wrong with that policy and that software?

Touting a place is something totally different. I don't tout places I play at. Because at any given moment they could all close up. I have no ilusions about that. But one can certainly be critical of a place when that place has something so blatant that can be commented on.

I'd rate some books low without playing there based on talking to CS dept, website design, vig charged, where they are located, withdraw and hold policies, bonuses, and other things. I've seen sign-up forms that don't ask for your name and address ! I'd never play at an SBR F-rated place, we now have JJgoldsports to help us as well !:ok:

Agree completely. Don't mean to place you in a difficult spot here, but would you care to shed some light on these owners. If not, I understand and it's all good as the principle of the thread is what's important.

To be quite blunt about it, to many to name and would hate to slight one of them.

It was GB Shaw I believe: disputing with someone over his bad review of some book, said: I have one big advantage over my opponent - I've never even began to read this book

I agree with you fish, no one should "review, rate" a book they have never played with. Just like no one that is paid by a book directly or indirectly, should rate a book either.
