Would it be possible to put all of the games for that day on the same screen? Just for each sport such as NBA. The way you have it now only 5 games are listed and then I have to click the back button and then the link for the next 5 games. This is time consuming and slows my ability to act quickly if interested in more than one game. You dont even have a link on the same screen for the next games. Would be better tho to have them all on one screen. Am I the only one who finds this disconcerting?

I can see how it would be a problem with NCAAF in terms of loading and streaming new odds... NBA and NFL should be ok though.

I had the same thought but given how many questions I've posted for Matchbook in the last few days I thought I'd hold off.

Thanks for the great input, guys. We limit the number of games on a page to 10 or 11 because the initial load of a longer page would stress a lot of people's systems out. Currently, a full page contains about 30 markets, with 90 sets of odds, and it takes about 2 seconds to load with a fast connection. Imagine 120 to 150 markets with 360 to 450 sets of odds and a slow connection, and you can see why we limit the page sizes.

What we can do, however, is place links to all of the NCAAF pages, for example, inside of each NCAAF page. That would save people from having to go back out to the NCAAF menu and back into a new page. It will be a savings of just one click, but clicks have a way of adding up.

Why have 3 sets of lines listed when you can only play against the line listed under "best odds", (the ones in blue). Getting rid of them would eliminate two thirds of the loads and they are useless anyhow. Could also make separate screens for MLs and Spreads. And with a max of 16 games for the nba, nfl and nhl, I think that should be doable. College could be handled differently but every little bit helps. Thx for your response.

They're not useless...

If there's $15 at -101 and $1200 at -104, I might want to take out both bets by trying to bet $1215 at -104. If the depth wasn't displayed, I wouldn't know I could do this.

I believe that other showing the other lines gives you the depth of play e.g if a line is listed at +105 $1000 and the next is +101 $5000 and you want to lay $2000 you would get half at +105 and half at +101 - if I understood your question.

You're right you only want the best bet in that you wouldn't take $500 at +101 in the above example.

This screen is a lot like trading stocks - you can see the depth, track the volume, and watch the momentum IMO.

Also important on showing the depth if you want to be a market maker. You want to position a few $$$ at -105 -105 ats and current the the line is -110 $10,000 and -102 $5 with the next line at -110 $10,000. This will let you potentially see your chances for balancing your action (if the other books are at the -105 -105 lines as well).
