DEPOSIT TIME for Olympic Sports "Weekend Warrior" NCAA Contest..( 1 DAYS ONLY LEFT)

OK Guys, its time to get registered for the Weekend Warrior NCAA Contest...

The cost is a minimum deposit of at least 100.00 (4x rollover on the 100.00, if sending more, normal rules apply on the extra)...The funds are yours to play with...

For every person in the contest, Olympic with generously donate 100.00 to the prize pool for the contest......I would think we will get at least 60-70 in, providing a nice pool.....Once i know the exact amount, i will set up small weekly prizes to the top 3, and then we will award prizes to either the top 3 or top 5 in the bracket finals, based on amount of the prize pool....

Each week, the top 3 cappers, will earn an "entry" into the bracket contest..you CAN win more than one entry......

So there are 2 ways to win.......

Each week is seperate, therefore one bad week does not hurt you the next.......

In order to be eligible for the contest, i need you to do 2 things please....First, make your deposit, then email marketing@thegreek.com, with "attention Karol" in the subject line, and give her your posting handle, account number, and date/amount of deposit......then please email bucsfan67@therx.com with your entry date, or just carbon copy your email to Karol, to me.....

Once verified, i will add you to the CONFIRMED LIST here in this thread.....

Please, do not wait til the last minute, because if everyone does that, then people start thinking there wont be many prizes, etc, and they may not get in.....its a small deposit, and football is going on, so please go ahead and get your deposit in early, so we can see how big the pool is gonna be..

We want to start the weekend of December 10th.....

Therefore, the deadline for entry will be noon, est, on the tuesday before....so we have a few days to get the prizes, etc lined out.....therefore you have until noon, est. on Tuesday, December 6th, to get in....

Might be a dumb question, but I haven't seen anybody ask.

If we already have money in our Olympic account, do we need to deposit another $100? Or can we simply ask Karol to "transfer" $100 to the NCAA Contest?

Wait for his official response but I can all but guarantee you that it has to be a new deposit. All the one's I have played in or ran in the past that was the way it was done for whatever reason. Maybe they have to do the paperwork a certain way? Not sure on that but I am sure you got to send in fresh cheese.

You have to deposit a new 100.00....there is no where for her to transfer it to....you are allowed to play the funds, its just a way to get new money into the book in return for thier sponsorsihp and the prizes...

Karol has also notified me that the contest participants, after making their "entry deposit" can send her their shirt size, and she will send out t-shirts to the players in the contest as well...

I would hope so...

My only fear, is since its not a "first come, first serve" contest, with limited spots, that everyone is gonna wait til the last minute (for no reason), and people will look, and think there arent gonna be that many people, so not big prizes, and then kinda forget about it...

There is no reason for a "capping contest" like this to not have plenty of takers, for a 100.00/deposit, at a TOP RATED safe book, NO REASON....

oh, i dont doubt many will be there...but difference between this and Hollywood is it was "limited" to a certain number, so people HAD to get their deposit in quick, to play, many missed out.....

This one, is open to as many as join, and while i know many will get in, i just wonder how many we lose, that might be new, to contests at least, and look in and see just a few names, and think "wow, thats wont be worth much money, forget it", and not look back again....Thats the only thing i hate...would love to get some of the new blood in as well......

It's a no-brainer to play ! Equivalent to 100% bonus, should get 100 in, easy ! It's NCAABB which may not appeal to some, myself included, but still winnable by anyone ! Pretty much a free contest !

Cant see any reason why that wouldn't work Bozzi, its still new money going into your account......
