Is it less legal to use a sports exchange than an offshore sportsbook if you are wagering against other people inside the US through an exchange? I understand the gray area about offshore books because you are wagering against people from another country making it much harder to get prosecuted for gambling under US laws. But if 90% of the people who use these exchanges are from the USA you are esentially betting these games with US citizens. Does this make the exchanges less legal than a sportsbook?

Most likely still a violation of the interstate wire act however you slice it.

My question is with the exchange they may be able to bust you without the interstate wire act since you are betting against Americans.

But as long as they give me bets like this I will take my chances

Florida at Wake Forest Point Spread Florida +1.5 +101
Florida at Wake Forest Point Spread Wake Forest +1 +110

I made these 2 plays almost 10 mins apart. Its free money. I win money no matter who wins and if Wake Forrest wins by 1 point I win both sides.
