Obviously they have done plenty of research on what viewers wanted. If they didn't want his schtick he would have been told nicely to cut it out or go work elsewhere. I personally find it enjoyable the rare moments I catch Sportscenter. I could see it getting old if I watched nightly, but once a month or so it makes for mild entertainment.

Scott is the little kid growing up who has ZERO game - but thinks he is Michael Jordan. the sooner espn says "BYE-BYE" to him the better it will be to watch - although as AWFUL as SC has become - who cares anymore!

Used to live for SC in its infancy... Haven't cared to watch any news items on SC last ten years, even the Sunday morning show with Lupica and other pompous fools. Dan LeBatard (spelling may be wrong) is ssssooooooo bad with his warped opinions sometimes I cringe. Obviously he never played sports and knows even less. Finally, Stu SUCKs from day one.
This is why I always catch the 6 PM Sportscenter or don't watch at all. Dan Patrick is the only quality anchor left. But the most unwatchable show on ESPN come on an hour before that......Around the Horn. Woody Paige, Jay Mariotti, Tony Reali, Tim Cowlishaw, the chick from Boston are all TERRIBLE. Not a smart one among the bunch. The only thing I never miss on ESPN is PTI, just an excellent show when Wilbon and Kornheiser are the hosts. They play off of each other very well and both of them know their stuff. However, if you throw Kornheiser's or Wilbon's usual replacements on there (Le Betard and Whitlock) it becomes unwatchable. Le Betard is just an absolute idiot and can't form a cogent sentence and Whitlock plays the race card on everything he can. I'm convinced Whitlock hates white people

i don't watch the 3P SC (here in CA) because it is a rehash of what happened yesterday and a preview of what will happen and it is BORING!
thankfully i get ESPNews so i have something to watch - or at least try and watch

the best fade around is mark may. i forget what network he is on but, talk about a guy who doesn't know his ass from his elbow. fading him is very profitable. made a big bet after i heard him say that v-tech would beat miami by 3 touchdowns a couple weeks back....was gonna layoff that game but, the great mark may had spoken.
