Darien Hatcher roughs up Sidney Crosby yesterday, so today ....he gets three hooking penalties called on him - one per period. He would have gotten a penalty even if he used his stick to pick his own nose.

Anyone think the NHL called last night's refs and game them an earful?

I'll believe it when I see it. Every year they say "this year will be different, we're going to strictly enforce the rules" and every year it takes 2 or 3 weeks and the refs are back to business as usual. Disgusting! Hockey has the worst officiating of any sport. Not even close. What happened to Crosby in that last game was sickening. And they call a penalty on him. Can you believe it. There was 2 premeditated attacks on him leaving him bloody, stitched and with broken teeth and nothing was called. Unbelievable. What happened to the automatic major for drawing blood? Mario had it right years ago, it's a garage league. But Crosby showed what he is made of and got the last laugh. He was nonchalant after the game when he said he's been hit in the mouth before and he's sure he will be again. Dont let that babyface fool you, this kid is tough as nails. JMHO.
