Well not for me, but everyone in general. I believe that these online casinos, which of course are rigged, and the pokerrooms will bankrupt most novie gamblers! And lets face it, we need the newbies around to help build the site for years to come.

We need a few posts to remind these guys TO NOT play in the online casinos. ONLY play online poker if you REALLY has a firm grip on the game. 90% of the players who do think that they are solid poker players at $1/2 no limit, will move up to $5/10 or so and then give it all back and then more!

If you feel that posters need to be warned about the online casinos, then make a post here and maybe we can not lose the newbies before it is too late!

Poker is a beatable game if you put the time and effort into it. That being said, it takes a LOT of time and effort to consistently grind out a profit.

Online casinos (the biggest ones) are on the level. Obviously, the odds are tilted in their favor, but that is inherent in operating a casino. They're not rigged to make you lose any more than you would normally.

Now, do I think it would be smart to play in an online casino just for the hell of it? No. But with bonuses, some of the games offered at casinos can be +EV.

To all new gamblers: the most important thing with this hobby of ours is self control. No matter how good you are, you're going to have a bad run sooner or later. Learn how to hedge your risks and only put your money in when you are ahead (have an advantage). Good luck and party on
