Michigan bettors must love Lloyd Carr even more now! Ass##le!dmmd98 said:Ohio State was happy to go for the FG since that was there plan. OSU tried to run to ball to place it in the middle of the field for the FG but Michigan kept calling time outs and on the 3rd try OSU got the go ahead touchdown.
This was a double kill for me as I had Mich. +3 and the game under 44. I was sitting on a nice victory in both with a field goal but Mich call those nice 2 time outs to really do nothing but help Ohio State. Brain dead coach !CAPN CRUNCH said:Michigan bettors must love Lloyd Carr even more now! Ass##le!
I don't really agree, even though I had Michigan in a parlay, and all the other legs of the parlay came through. I mean, you can't just sit on your hands and let the other team kick what would amount to an extra point with no time left. They don't care if they lose by 1 or 4, so the TD doesn't hurt them anymore than the field goal would. If Ohio St fumbles, then Carr looks like a genius.kermit16 said:This was a double kill for me as I had Mich. +3 and the game under 44. If there was like 2 minutes or even 1 1/2 minutes left on the clock his strategy would make some sense but with only 30 some seconds left.... He is only helping Ohio State get their s-it together by calling these 2 time outs. Since Ohio State had already missed a extra point... that's really your best chance is to freeze the kicker with 4 seconds left ! Why give Ohio State at least 2 extra free shots at the goal ? They only had 1 time out left and they had to use that to get their field goal unit all set up ! Ignorant IMHOIllini said:I don't really agree, even though I had Michigan in a parlay, and all the other legs of the parlay came through.
