From the West Coast to the East Coast

I never really realized how much I dislike living on the East Coast for sports. When I first moved here I figured it was no big deal to go to sleep and miss a few games to get some insight at the beginning of the baseball season as to how a particular team is playing or if a pitcher is as good or bad as presumed because I COULD SURELY READ IT IN THE DAMN PAPER IN THE MORNING!
I guess they print the paper too early and they don't print the sports page.
So anyway, my girlfriend does not have ESPN so I can't catch up there either.
We had to have a talk, needless to say, about me staying over there on "important nights".
You might say, "well, look on her internet". That would all be good but her only computer is lodged in the corner of her teenage daughters bedroom and I guess I just should not hang out in there while she is in her pajamas or whatever. Kind of hard to keep it a secret if I am winning because god forbid she thinks it is "our" money. Ha ha
In desperation, I hustle to my truck and check the scores on my cellular phone. Boy, that ain't too cheap.
West coast was so nice. I could lay a good drunk on and still make it to bed in time to get a good nights rest before work in the morning after Sunday and Monday night football.

What I meant was "they don't print the outcomes of the late games in the sports page"..........
