Anyone know where I can find "financial" lines - bets on stock market indexes, interest rates, or other such bets. I think I've run across one or two but can't remember where. Thanks.

Thanks helah10.

I checked mybookie. They have bets on the DOW, but they simply use the DOW's number after the decimal point as a way to "pull" a random number. You then bet on that random number (10:1 odds paying 8:1).

I had my heart set on a real bet on the DOW rather using it as a random number generator.

The CBOE, Chicago Board Options Exchange. They offer options on all of the major indices.

I believe the Chicago Merc or Board of Trade offers some interest rate options.

Thanks Christof,

Tradesports looks good for my purposes. Anyone know of others?

JayC,
I considered CBOE and options. But Black Scholes and others beat me to it. I'm looking for easier money. The sportbook traded bets have different features than most options, they are all-or-nothing and are easier to arbitrage. Options have variable payoffs after the strike price while sport bets do not. More importantly, sport bettors may be less sophisticated than the MIT PhD's working on Wall Street.

Thanks, klowinns.

I checked Carib. They offer a bet on tomorrows DOW - up or down only. And they take 40 cents for it.

This is a bit better than betting on a random number generator, but not much.

Anyone else know any books offering financial bets, such as on DOW?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, fathead.

betonmarkets is a bit confusing. It seems to be man vs. site rather than man vs. man.

So far, Intrade looks the best.

Any other sites like Intrade that trade S+P or DOW bets?

I need advice on betting financial bets. Is anyone here a semi-expert in this area who can share some experiences?

Thanks, again to all for help.
