Yes, they just replied. The bad thing is that won't accept bets over the telephone.

Email from Mansion:

Our IT Department have informed us that the technical difficulties we experienced earlier regarding accessing the MANSION site have now been resolved.

However, you may need to clear cookies and caches before you are able to access the site. This may take some time if you have a lot of files.

If you are using IE, open your internet browser and click on the ‘Tools’ option which is located across the top of the screen.
Select ‘Internet Options’ on your browser.

In the ‘Temporary Internet Files’ section of the screen that appears, click on the 'Delete Cookies' button and then the 'Delete Files' button; please also tick the checkbox that appears in order to 'Delete all offline content'.

If you are using Mozilla Firefox:
To clear cached information as discussed in IE, simply click ‘tools’ and select ‘options’ in the window, click ‘privacy icon’.

If you are using Netscape and Mozilla:
Click ‘Edit’ and ‘Preferences’. On the left hand side of the new window, expand Advanced and click ‘Cache’.

Click the clear ‘Cache’ button to remove all the files. Content expiry settings are also on the page. As discussed with IE, you can set it to do it every time you view the page.

Now expand Privacy and Security and click ‘Cookies’.

You should now be able to access www.mansion.com.

We apologise for any inconvenience you may have been caused in this matter. This was caused by influences external to our control.

If you require any further assistance or are still experiencing difficulties, please feel free to contact us.

Kindest regards,

BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"In the ‘Temporary Internet Files’ section of the screen that appears, click on the 'Delete Cookies' button and then the 'Delete Files' button; please also tick the checkbox that appears in order to 'Delete all offline content'."

Don't do this unless you absolutely have to in order to get on the site. Doing this will wipe out most, if not ALL pages that you are automatically logged into or have user ID's saved for.

This was a scary situation today if you had offers up when the site went down. I talked toi them on the phone and they dont cancel offers when the site goes down and you cant cancel them by calling either. i told them they shoul consider changing that policy. They said that nobody can get in so nobbody can take the offers. But this word force you to watch the site like a hawk until it comes back up if you want to cancel an offer before someone gets it. Very scary. After hearing that, I will never make an offer at mansion again (unless they change that policy).

Excellent point, I'll email them and we should all do the same to express our opinion.

nimue77, did you ask for the Exchange Manager? From the reply I received it would appear that the Manager has the authority to cancel offers.
