Trap game for all squares betting on team traditions and name.

Iowa has 5 seniors and good experienced depth, while UK is trying to find all of it's parts. This is the time of year Iowa (Alford) excels against the perenial powers of NCAA BB.

Last year was a perfect example. Wins over Louisville and Texas to start the season. And I believe Alford's first game at Iowa was a win over defending champion UCONN. :suomi:

IOWA was at #17 let's see them moving up.

As far as college goes I'm a DePaul fan #1 (team of my youth) USF #2 (rooting for the home team) and Illinois State #3 (my coolege team)

I had Iowa at a pick'em and also saw it as a trap game. Let's see here... #18 ranked team vs #7 ranked team, neutral court, and Kentucky only favored by 2 in the opening line. You figure it out. Yeah, it came down to the end and everything but everyone on Iowa collected.

Viking I graduated in '93 and went on to start a casino career in Peoria. I think I made it to the PUBII 70 days in a row for at least one beer and missed a day because I was a party, I lived on cheeseballs back then.

Kentucky will destroy this Iowa team in March.

UK will get Morris back before the conference and he's going to help bigtime. Iowa has gotten worse it seems throughout each year as Alford has been there. A couple big dropoffs. I really like Horner, Haluska, and Brunner though for Iowa. I hate Hansen and he shouldnt even see the floor.

of course come March, neither of these teams will hold a candle to IU. :103631605

FYI - I am by no means a CBB handicapping expert. Just notice some trends and feelings once in a while. Mostly Big Ten and Midwestern teams.

Glad to help though, it paid for T-day festivities!
