That sucks, if they are going to do it they shoukdve done it right away. Sucks if you took the other side and and end up losing.

Dear pinnacle sports client,

We apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Please be advised that your wager was cancelled according to the rules posted on the Wagering Info section of our site.

Please note that your wager was on CS Northridge at -1.5 while it should have been CS Northridge at -7.

Regards

When I see an error line, I do not even bother to bet it. Why do it? If you do, they will no doubt cancel the wager. And you also get put on their bad side for taking a shot at them.

A -7 HT line vs -1½ is an error line. Its no bet.

It was very close to when the 2nd half started that they took it down because i kept checking like every 30 seconds if they would take it down and they never did. All of a sudden they take it down when they take their own line down for the 2nd half . That's just a mind game. I don't mind them cancelling the wager but it was way way too late in my opinion.

Books have a right to cancel any wagers placed on a bad line. Period.

Yes, but it must be done in a timely and reasonable manner. For example, would you think it OK if they waited to cancel this play until halfway through the 2nd half? Doubt it.

They would still cancell it after the game.

I have found some bad lines at Olypmic and they are always cancelled if straight bets.

A parlay can slip by Oly

Look, the rules at every book say they have the right to cancel an obvious bad line, which this was. Even of they didn't catch it until the next day they still would have had the right to cancel it.

i say BULL to that....

they cant wait to see how the game plays out & then decide to cancel it if it wins...

they either cancel it before the game starts (& SEND EMAIL) or they should let it stand...

what happens in Las Vegas?

Disagree. If that's the case then what's to stop books from intentionally putting up bad lines and then simply waiting until afterwards to decide whether it benefits them to cancel?

P.S. I am NOT accusing Pinny of this. I'm just sayin' policy-wise.

It sounds like here they cancelled it within a reasonable time. But esp given that they came up with a new line, it would not have been acceptable to cancel well into the 2nd half or later.

because you knew it was a bad line

was -7 or thereabouts all over the place

you hit a bad line, it got cancelled. that is the price you pay.

the other side cashed anyway, don't worry about it

It may have been more appropriate for you to email them and tell them they had posted a bad line rather than come on here and cry like a schoolgirl. I have been awarded freeplays for doing this before..although never at pinnacle.

Cry like a schoolgirl? A$$hole, it is the way in which it was done/cancelled. If they did not wait 10 minutes until exactly when the second half started than i would have been fine with it. The situation is over as far as i am concerned. I did email them twice and their first response is the one that i have above. Their next response is as follows:

Dear Pinnacle Sports Client,

The wagers were canceled as soon as the error was noticed.

Regards,
CSD
