They did that last year with a lot of totals. I think that is a regular practice for them. I wouln't read anything into it.

Yes, VERY common occurance last year with NCAAB totals. And yes, don't read anything into it. There are often juicy + sides to be had out there. I have now changed from playing the overnights to waiting for the lean to form and then fire late if on the other side of the money.

This has been talked abou a lot. Pinny has a sharp clientel. With themoney lins the know how to make monay wirhout moving the number. Anybody who caught the good number first can scalp back a profit, leaving them with no bad numer to hit. When they get even on the number move it, andthey move and start all over.

What Slash said - they are scared to death of being middled. They'd rather have you go to another book and try a Polish Middle.

but they're getting scalped left and right when they raise the vig to -150 and above, and thats not much better than being middled...

they never get scalped on those, unless a person risks a polish middle. the other shops are 2 points higher/lower by the time they are at -150 on a side....

I think cklennon is confusing a scalp with a buy-back.

It is a lot better than being middled. Instead of losing two sides they are simply attracting action to the other side (the +side). They don't care who's money it is, so if you were lucky enough to get the over at -105 you would have one hell of a buy-back. They would still get their hold.
