what a STUPID trade by the white sox - giving up one of the best defensive CF in all of MLB (and a fullerton alum) for someone who is washed up and injured and making a TON more money

does this mean they think konerko is gone?

Rowand saved a lot of doubles and triples in center field. They must think Brian Anderson is ready to step in in center. Maybe they think they can sign Konerko, but after taking on over half of Thome's salary, it's doubtful. The more I think about it, it might have been a trade they had to make to get a left handed bat in the lineup, and they may have lost Konerko anyway. Might be one of those few trades that is good for both teams.
