Ok without pop music Mariah Carey would be a hooker like his sister and Sheryl Crow would still be singing backup on the next Michael Jackson tour. While I can't speak for EM however 50 cent while not something to be proud of was a drug dealer in NYC and last time I checked the benefits sucked but it pays well.

I wouldn't disagree nor really care to agrue who has had the better career since its really so subjective. What I did agrue is the fact that you said that 50 and EM would be nothing wouldn't rap music and I was pointing out that Carey and Crow wouldn't be living the high life either without pop/r&b.
