Many, many factors are involved with consistent winning. It all starts with solid money management, not being too greedy and good old fashioned work.
However, my question here is regarding team sports in general. IMO there are two major factors at play a] knowledge of the teams involved and the sport itself and b] knowledge and understanding of the chess game of lines and line movements that is played between the man and the player.
While of course one assumes the player avails himself all opportunities to study the matchup, I would say that b] is still at least 60% of the total equation and probably more.
So if you are new to this, know all your teams, trends and zone defenses and maybe not doing as well as you'd expect don't despair b] is a product of time and experience.
Be interesting to get some opinions on this premise.
Hope you all are having a good Thanksgiving.
