Computer Question for TT

TT, my browser has been hijacked. Minnow suggested I try Xoftspy to remove it. Unfortunately when I run it and press remove my computer locks up. Any suggestions?

I have installed Firefox and it is fast as sh!t. Amazing... but do I need to clean up the rest of my old browser (IE) or am I ok to just move on and use Fire fox and leave everything else as is?

That sucks about Xoft-it's become my new favorite. Go to trendmicro.com & run the free online scanner-I think you have more of a virus issue than a simple spyware\browser hijack.

FYI-I'm barely around until late Sat-out of town doing the family thing.

This company used to make a specific browser hijack software...
I believe they have expanded it, and it is now covered in their latest software release
