Today was a miserable day. I started playing at 2pm and did not win a hand until 6:30. 4.5 hours without winning one single pot. Most of it was just folding and losing blinds, cause I sure didn't get any cards. I finally got A10 and lost to AK, which was held by a player that played every single hand all day. Then I had A10 again and the flop came 10 10 K. I bet and got raised by some dipshit. I figured K 10 or KK. Nope, he had K8, and got his king on the river. Then I had 22 and flopped A 2 A. Turn comes Q, river comes J, and the guy had AQ. Other times AK losing to K7. I had to learn to get out the KY later in the day, cause it made it hurt less the more I took it up the ass. Bad guys won big today. I've never seen so many dipshits win so much money, and walk away like they thought they were good poker players. I lost $280. Good guy next me dropped $200, and he was having the same kind of day, just getting beat by hands that were dominated before and after the flop. I paid $280 to work 10 hours today. Bad feeling. But what can you do?

Had a lot of fun hanging out with JeffKSU and Mrs. JeffKSU. Good people, and we had a lot of laughs. Congrats Jeff on the big win yesterday with the football games. Thanks for including me in your holidays, and I look forward to hanging out more often.

False Dmitri- I have no idea what the hell your posting handle means, but it's good to see that you signed up. Maybe you can get a Pinnacle account and make $1 bets just to get in on the action. Or not. Like you said you have enough vices. Quit hanging out with 50 year old women. :smoker2:

hey Illini, like I told you when you left man, you can be the best poker player in the world and still lose to shmucks. My handle comes from Kievan Russian history known as "The Time of Troubles" when the heir to the throne was supposedly murdered, but then at three insurrectionists claimed to be Dmitri to try and take the throne. Crazy Russians. (I majored in Middle Eastern / Russian history at the U of IL, class of 2003!!!):toast:

Miss you Illini! Jeff...thanks for taking my big brother in the City of Sin! Much Love!

What's up FalseD. Nice to see you posting, hope you become a regular poster.

False D is definetely the most intelligent person I have ever met in my life. Knows everything about everything. Everytime I see him he has a book in his hands:nopityA: ....he falls asleep with a book on his chest, if he's outside having a smoke, he reads too. Graduated from U of I with good grades and without even trying. He is a character:suomi: .

But he has absolutely zero street/life smarts. It's the strangest thing. Graduated from U of I and worked at Hardeez for 2 more years:ohno: . Dated a woman that used him for all he's worth, yet he stayed with her til she beat the living crap out of him. No kidding...two black eyes, busted lip, scratches all over his body. Finally he decided to stop taking the abuse, dang battered houswife False D is:smashf: .

Illini- very glad to see you are meeting some great people. I hope you get back on track with the poker. The life of a gambler, sometimes you come home from a long day of work with less cash. Update that dang thread so I can track you dude, or start a new one. How's the job search going. We missed you at thanksgiving. You coming home for Christmas?
