Certainly was a game the Cyclones had no business in losing, yet managed to do so. Anyone who says Iowa State is the biggest choking team in the nation, has every right to do so. The Cyclones have lost four games this season. They led all four in the fourth quarter and lost three in overtime. But when it comes to bowl season, Iowa State usually is the underdog and has been known to cash. By the way, CY1981 was a member of the Cyclone team that lost to North Carolina State in the Peach Bowl in 1978.
