O.T. ok living in michigan,..freezer doesnt seem to......

be able to make ice cubes fast enough(,...yeah im drinking,) but still,....it is about 22-24 degrees out,...do you think i should just put the ice cube trays out on my front porch?,...it seems to be much colder out,...yet a freeezer???,...well would apreciate your thoughts :icon_conf

yeah tough call,...pulling ice cubes that are not fully ready,...gosh i gotta wonder if the outside placing of the ice trays would work betor?,...common,...gotta be a few rocket scientist? or there above?,...just looking to get cubes for my drinks?? u know?? :icon_conf

Put them outside with a fan blowing on them if you need them NOW

Most freezers run at zero , or lower, it will take many hours to freeze outside at 22 degrees.

yeah thanks doug,..it is a dilemma,...i have tried the drink?refill at the freezer number before,....but now that i am in michigan,...i am just wondering if i could get faster cubes from the outside(22 degrees or so) >??? :icon_conf

My guess is 6 hours at that temp, is freezer defective ? Put whatever your drinking in the freezer ?

yeah, hey i can see it isnt really gonna take place tonight,....but damn,....being in mich i was curiouis if the ::: set the ice cube trays out side would work(,...u know in a resonable amount of time,....would they freeze!!)

They will freeze, but not quick enough ! Freezer will be faster.

It's very cold outside, but it shoudl be colder in your freezer. Your cubes will form faster in the freezer.

just buy a 20 pack and throw them outside in the snow!!! I've done this on many occassions....even put them in the snow in the bed of my truck and reached through the sliding rear window for a cold one!!! Have had keggers and packed snow around the keg to keep it cold...much better than ice in the above situations....don't know how much snow you got but should do the trick....sounds like you are making mixed drinks though so can't help ya!! Put the liquor outside i guesss.

i do the samething make ice cubes outside..... because my freezer is stuff with cash.... my grandfather always told me to have cold cash around...:toast:

Check the condenser on the back of the freezer and or refrigerator. Probably just needs to be cleaned. Condenser is the part that gets hot.
