I finally went with the "if you can't beat em, join em" philosophy on favorites this week as Carolina just looked too good...and it hit and hit big.

arty: Internet age. They know if they were to slap 7 on S/D today the sharps would have pounded Washington. Same story with Buffalo, and Indy tomorrow night. They are afraid of the 5% of bettors like Fezzik and a few others who pour huge money on value dogs. I think the market lines are very true and there is an odd occurance where the favs are covering at about a 55-60% rate.

I have Jacksonville at -3.5...not sure why I typed 4.5. But yea, I am with you. I got burned a lot earlier this year...actually all the way up until last week. I actually won last week with my dogs. But this week, the favorites just seemed to jump out at me. I just can't believe how well they have done this season. It is unreal.
