I dont remember a year, with so many missed fg's from short distance......

Bucs cant hit a measley 29 yarder to tie it up, Jax misses a 38 yarder, arizona missed a short one, there have been many more...

The money these guys get, they should be able to make em from under 40 yards about 90% of the time, for that kind of money......

And sometimes they act like they dont even really care....they just kinda shrug and head to the sidelines.....I mean these guys dont get hit like the tohers, dont have to practice as hard as the others, all they have to do is kick, and they CANT DO IT....

Just amazes me....why they get paid so much...

No doubt. That's why the good kickers are worth their weight in gold. Seems like at least half the teams in the NFL have a new kicker each year. If good kickers grew on trees, the Colts would have sent Vanderjagt packing a couple years ago.

It was very close, but i think it just drifted before it crossed....a yard or 2 difference and it would have been good i think....but TB didnt argue that much, so i think the call was right.....

Remember the good old days that a kicker could kick them from 60 yards in practice with no problem? I remember that one kicker from Texas I believe, who kicked some 60+ FG's in college and then flopped in the NFL! What's his name?

Yeah but some of these you are talking about are 53 yard attempts

not many of those are made with any regularity
