Anyway to fly Supercheap ?

For example if I went to Vegas Jan 19-21st ( for competitor's event). I don't want to go real bad, but would go if cheap enough !

I'm looking for some sort of last-minute standby type flight. Preferably with enough notice to not pack and return home from the airport, just to unpack.

How about a trip to an unspecified location for dirt-cheap on last minute deal ? I don't want to go to Wyoming, N. Dakota, Kansas, Iowa, etc., but a potluck type deal to a more vacationy type place like Fla, Carribean, LV, So-Cal ?

Sort of a gambler's vacation... destination unknown, but subject to my approval.

Maybe a last minute cruise, etc. ?

I've never heard of anything besides a couple airlines with last minute weekend discounts (Frontier-comes out on Wed AM).

We have to have a travel agent around here somewhere who probably knows of a few....I'm sure they're out there somewhere. What isn't in today's age.

Your chepeast way would be to box yourself up and fedex yourself to Vegas. I just hope you don't weigh alot because that will affect the price.

I guess I'm likely to miss the BLAST ! I don't want to go in Jan.,anyway. August just warms me up to my ultimate destination= HELL. I'm jiggy wit dat !

I don't care, I agree with the Klingons, anyway, I'm already insane after 5+ years at USPS, plus all drugs I did back in the 60's ( not really !) !

Hey DougJ, you're better off not going anyway, unless you stay till Monday. The NFC and AFC championship games are on that Sunday, so unless you're staying till Monday, you'll most likely be flying during the games...and that'd suck.

Viewing games means little to me, I don't watch ! Wife puts a game on, I get mad ! Put it back on the Soap opera channel, or whatever, Doug don't watch sports !

Doug hasn't ever been to an NFL, NBA, NHL game, and about 4 years since last MLB game.

I want roundtrip for 2 from Hartford for about $250-300 , instead of $600, or so, Then we ( all the Doug's go). We can sit, on it !!

Make a super -dooper deal, we all go... me, myself,I, Angela, Cooter, all my ghosts ( don't have any ! ), Sherman, Dozer, etc. Even Visor and his entourage !

Basic question remains is super-cheap last minute available to particular place ?, and how about if if you be willing to accept about anywhere but Davenport, Iowa ?

Random vacay... get to JFK/ Laguardia go to Jamaicaa/ Bahamas/ Aruba. etc. You don't know where. You get tropical vacay for cheap, but don't know if it's Puerto Rico, Bermuda, Aruba, etc. You go where you're sent, but it's cheap, ( we'll package hotel with it).

Hey guys... I'm going to Caribbean, but not sure what country ? Fun concept !

i havent used this in over ten years and i was abit surprised they had a website up and running but when i was more of an adventurer i would give them my dates of travel (a window of like 3 days), call to see how full the flights were and what my options were. (ie. london, iceland, caribbean, los angelos) and off id go.

the caribean and mexico trips were with sunhitch and they are a part of airhitch and the roundtrips back then were dirt cheap. (129 roundtrip to the caribbean for 4 or 7 days on a charter; flight only plus taxes

again not sure if they still run a good ship but i had no problems with them in another lifetime.

so google them and check the travel forums for more current info.

when i used them i traveled out of new york, newark, hartford, boston, providence.
