Thats a big move after beating Pittsburgh as an 8 point favorite. The line is at WSEX on their futures markets.

I don't agree. The market determines the price, and obviously, many people disagree with you.

Agreed, should be higher considering the teams to be played and that Dungy has hinted he will sit players.

Forget it. 5 team ML chalk parlay in pro football, and the last 5 games of a season?

Do you bet the Braves 5 in a row when they have the division locked up?

It was worth considering at + money, but that's it.

They will lose at SEA

Bank it. Resting starters SEA will still be looking for home field advantage.

Game will mean everything to one team, and nothing to the other.

ROB-

They will not rest their starters if they are undefeated.

Have this fairly much confirmed from an inside source.

I agree with you that Seattle will be their toughest game left on their schedule but I seriously doubt they will be resting their starters as this is almost always a big mistake anyway. This team is very very talented IMHO

I agree. If they have a chance to go undefeated, they should go for it.
Ditka made a comment I agree with yesterday, "No remembers who won the super bowl five years ago, but everybody remembers the '72 Dolphins."

Agree that sitting starters is not best strategy for team chemistry, but with their schedule @ -185 the value appears to be betting them to lose a regular season game.

For each of us that today says coaching staff should play starters, there will be 10 doubters screaming if Manning or other key starters are injured in final games.

This is a tired arguement, put it away Hawk and Fish!

The 72 'fins had to, and did go 14-0 to be undefeated.

19-0 is a much different story, if the Colts are 14-0 heading into Seattle having it locked up Manning, Harrison and Edge will have a seat by the half and Hasselbeck will be out there with a sweet game plan from Holmgrem and all their great recievers not to mention Sean Alexander. Forget about it!

:lolBIG:

Bob Sanders and Dallas Clark are the heart and soul of this team, so next time be sure to include them in your list of supposedly soon to be benchwarmers in Seattle.

Geesh, Dungy had MARVIN returning punts lastnight for goshsakes!

They are not THINKING about injuries at this time, but rather on doing whatever it takes to run the table.

If he doesn't take care of them, I have San Diego +1000 to give them their first loss the week after that. :drink:

They are doing what it takes to win that game.

Week 16 and 17 if Manning and all them are in late in those games with the division already in hand, ok then you got me.

But if the Colts go 16-0 without winning the bowl they will be remembered as the biggest failures of the season. Thus they will rest starters after Q1 or at half in those 2 games.

From a betting stand point, I still mantain the chalk on 16-0 is not worth it.
